ROADBOOK is offering a proven social media manager a brilliant opportunity to lead the strategy and content for our fast growing platform. Reporting to the Digital Director, you will be both hands on and strategic, with a proven track record in deploying content strategies and engaging and growing followers. You will have a high affinity with ROADBOOK’s manifesto and will champion this. An excellent communicator, you will have high-conviction ideas, be persuasive in communicating those in Social Media strategy and you will be as adept at managing content creation as you are nurturing audience engagement. You will pursue both strategic goals in channel strategy and content strategy as well as tactical goals through social listening and in proactively connecting with influencers and identifying opportunities to join conversations. As Product Owner for social media content, you will collaborate closely with Editorial and Creative teams, successfully leveraging brand, editorial and creative assets into Social Media, while also developing stand-alone social franchises with real resonance.

Responsibilities include:

Develop and maintain an evolving social media strategy, with clear goals for growth and engagement.

Manage social posting on multiple social media platforms including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest, recognising how content and tone of voice differs between each channel.

Developing strategies and plans for new social media platforms, for example, video.

Report on social media performance, and use this data to inform ROADBOOK’s social media strategy.

Coordinate with editorial and design teams to ensure a seamless process.

Develop and execute social media franchises, creative ideas and campaigns for unique storytelling.

Foster relationships with content creators across the world and seek out collaborative opportunities.

Requirements:

At least five years experience in social media management, including the most recent developments and innovations

Management skills and maturity for Editor level designation

Proven track record in audience growth and engagement across multiple social media platforms

A keen eye for image curation and visual storytelling

Excellent writing skills for composing captions and headlines

Excellent organization and accountable deadline management

High conviction in your ideas, backed by benchmarks, data and proof points
