What does a journey mean to you?
A journey for me is discovering a destination through a locals lens, and then creating a story from who I was when I first arrived to who I am once I depart. I’m curious and have an open mind to the learnings a destination could add to my nomadic life.
Which country or location most inspires you?
Amidst all its chaos, I am most inspired in Old Delhi. While the city has been rebuilt seven times, there’s magic to be found in its history, craft, culture and food.
Where would you recommend when visiting Dubai?
There’s so much to discover. The perfect day should start with a walk along Alserkal Avenue, where an abundance of craft stores and art spaces await. Then, a recharge at XVA Design Hotel’s cafe, before enjoying the sunset at Kite Beach. Round off the day with a burger from High Joint and cocktails at Honeycomb.
What journey would you most like to go on?
I’d love to spend a few months learning the tango in Argentina. Dance is my second favourite form of expression after writing.
