What does a journey mean to you?
Evolution and movement.
Which other country or location most inspires you?
I have fallen in love with something about each country I have visited so far, but the natural beauty of Aotearoa and Spain hold special spots in my heart.
Where would you go back to, and why?
Germany. One of my favourite European countries, I love how different the vibes are from region to region; how beautiful the countryside is. The multiculturalism that can be found in Berlin, the chaos of Hamburg, the familiarity of Frankfurt and Cologne. The music, the art, the architecture…there’s a lot happening there that excites me from the outside, looking in.
Top insider tip for Melbourne?
Immerse yourself in the cultural hubs of the suburbs. Melbourne city is of course a major drawcard for first-time visitors, but I’d encourage you to visit the North and the West in particular for some excellent foodie experiences, as well as a proper insight into what living here is like.
What journey would you most like to go on?
I would love to explore more of the Oceanic region and learn more about the historic ties between island nations through music, food, and language.
