Melissa Uchiyama is a food writer and podcast host. She is a long-term Tokyo resident, a long way from where she grew up in South Florida. Melissa writes about cocktails and all of the culture and cuisine that first made her fall in love with Japan, including the magic of the local tofu shop, sukiyaki and Japanese gardens. She also hosts creative writing camps for Japanese and international young writers, focusing on playwriting and food writing.
