Based in Australia, Martin worked for Lonely Planet for 21 years in numerous roles, including seven years as editorial manager and seven as accessible travel manager. A road accident in 2010 left him a quadriplegic. A regular speaker at conferences around the world, he has completed projects for APEC, the Australian Tourism Export Council and the Global Sustainable Tourism Council. He recently joined Vacayit as head of content.
