What does a journey mean to you?
Discovering new landscapes and cultures that change your outlook, broaden your tastes and provide a deeper sense of purpose and meaning.

Which other country or location most inspires you?
For its nature alone, Alberta in Canada. Hiking through Banff’s lakes, glaciers and mountains is the closest you’ll get to stepping into a living postcard.

Where would you go back to, and why?
Sri Lanka. From its mist-covered jungles to its surfable beaches, every inch of the country is pure magic.

Top insider tip for London?
The Reading Rooms at the British Library are the best place to find some peace and quiet in the city. Head to The Nook in Islington for a great glass of orange wine and Bubala in Soho for the best burnt butter hummus you’ll ever taste. Somewhere in Hackney, a tiny shop under the railway arches at London Fields, is my favourite place to rummage for hand-picked vintage.

What journey would you most like to go on?
I’m currently dreaming of a Greek island hopping holiday in the Western Cyclades, exploring thyme-scented villages, hiking the landscapes of Homeric legend, and jumping off rocky outcrops into the Aegean.
