What does a journey mean to you?
New perspectives
Which other country or location most inspires you?
That’s a tough one but if I have to choose I’d say Mexico City. I was lucky enough to live there for a bit and lost a piece of my heart. Its dynamic and captivating ambiguity always make me long for more.
Where would you go back to, and why?
Italy — I spent many summers there growing up and have been visiting pretty regularly ever since. If I don’t go once a year, I feel separation anxiety creeping up. From cheap espresso at the gas station to mingling with local nonnas at the market to great dining experiences, I just love how food-focused Italian culture is.
What journey would you most like to go on?
I used to do a lot of horseback riding when I was younger and actually worked with horses on an Australian farm for a bit so going on a riding trip has always been a dream. Maybe Iceland? Or Mongolia? Exploring breathtaking nature from the back of a horse must be very special.
