What does a journey mean to you?
A journey is something that leaves you knowing more than you did before you left, be it an experience or knowledge.

Which other country or location most inspires you?
Paris. I lived there during college and have dreamed of living in France ever since. My impression was that French values align perfectly with mine; the most important things in life are good food, art, stimulating conversations and picnics in the park.

Top insider tip for Los Angeles?
If you’re visiting LA, I recommend staying on the less-touristy east side of town, it’s far from the beach, but exploring north east LA, Highland Park and Pasadena ensures some great coffee, cool restaurants and – if you’re lucky – a day at The Huntington Library and Botanical Gardens.

What journey would you most like to go on?
Japan!
