Born and raised in Milan, Emma spent years living in London while travelling between continents, guided by a curiosity for culture and gastronomy that has taken her from remote parts of Indonesia to weeks-long hikes through the Scottish Highlands. She now lives between Milan, Rome and Geneva – always, it seems, on a train – seeking out the places worth keeping quiet about, and researching and writing for everyone else’s trips when she’s not on one herself.
