Beverney Shane is a versatile creative who was born and raised in Dubai with Sri Lankan roots. What does a journey mean to you?
A journey to me means something more significant than sitting in a vehicle for a few hours – it’s getting to where you need to be in your own way.
Where would you like to go back to and why?
I would like to go back to Ahangama in Sri Lanka. It is great during the surf season and there is also so much to do when there are no waves.
What journey would you most like to go on?
Any journey that helps me find like-minded people and furthers my understanding of the world around me.
Top travel tip for visiting Dubai?
Ask the right questions, look for the less polished spots and dig deeper. There’s a pulse to the city, you just gotta find it.
